Why Join?

As a regional advocacy group for women's rights, the TGFM draws its wealth and expertise from the commitment of its members. The diversity of the groups that make up the TGFM strengthens its influence and the relevance of its representation of Montreal women in all their diversity. These multiple experiences are vital in developing feminist perspectives on issues affecting the Montreal region. New members therefore contribute to enriching the variety of topics addressed by our collective projects.

As a member of TGFM, you benefit from a supportive network. The members' bulletin, sent out approximately every two weeks, provides exclusive information such as training opportunities, documentation, project updates, research and invitations.

Only regular members have voting rights and can be elected to the coordinating committee. Allied members may attend general meetings without voting rights. All members can participate in working committees and thus contribute to the realization of TGFM's mission.

Communication

Commitment in the coming year

In September 2024, TGFM members adopted a strategic plan structured around 6 topics. Each topic includes trajectories that draw a logical path between issues identified in 2024 and a series of intermediate changes leading to the objectives that members aim to achieve by 2027. The actions needed to achieve these objectives will be defined with the members, in particular through working committees.

On which topics(s) does your group wish to get involved in a working committee over the next year?
