Virtual workshop on women's health and well-being
Learn about the Women's Health and Wellness Action Plan 2020-2024 and take the opportunity to network with other organizations working to improve women's health and well-being.
does a specific action plan for women's health and well-being really exist?
The answer is YES! After 5 years of expectations and pressure from feminist groups, the Ministry of Health and Social Services has launched its Action Plan for Women's Health and Well-being 2020-2024. However, several blind spots and several questions of clarification were raised.
what does it means for women's groups?
The Women's Health and Well-Being Action Plan presents the MSSS's perception of the directions to be taken in women's health, specifically:
- The state of women's health and well-being;
- Priority issues in women's health and well-being;
- What has been achieved in women's health and well-being in the community;
- The measures to be implemented in order to respond to the prioritized issues.
It is therefore legitimate to ask ourselves the following question: Do these directions align with the field needs identified by women's groups and their reality?
