On September 27, 2017, we stood arm-in-arm in Quebec City to create a human chain around the National Assembly and demand concrete engagements supporting autonomous community action. It was a beautiful sight, with more than 4,000 people fighting to increase funding for the community and public service sectors. Of the 65 buses that carried participants, 19 came from Montreal.

Bravo to all the groups that came out, to the neighbourhoods that mobilized to be there and to the committees that organized this magnificent demonstration of anger and solidarity, showing our commitment to collective well-being.

We'll see you on November 23, 2017 at the Centre St-Pierre to discuss our next actions, including for February 7 and the proposal for a strike in the community sector.
